Aditya Chopra is in Paris doing a recce for his next film Befikre. The romantic drama that stars Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor as the leads, will be shot extensively in the French capital. A source reveals that Adi and his pre-production team left for Paris to identify key locations where the film will be shot. It seems that he doesn’t want to shoot at the popular tourist spots like Champs-Élysées, the Eiffel Tower, or the Arc de Triomphe. The director is looking at discovering some spots that are not on tourist guides and have his cast shoot the main scenes in those locales. Apart from the locations, Ranveer and Vaani will also be taking French language lessons. A source says, “There will be a lot of French dialogues in the film, accompanied by subtitles. The film is set in Paris and so, the two will interact and flirt with each other in French. Since neither of them is familiar with the language, a special tutor has been hired.”
Adi will also collaborate with a local French unit who will work on Befikre. The source also adds that the director plans to take the film on floors sometime mid-April.
