Ace celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani recently shot a jewellery campaign with Dimple Khanna and her daughter Twinkle. Dabboo has also shot Neetu and Ridhima Kapoor’s jewellery ad earlier. Dabboo tell us, “The chemistry between Twinkle and Dimple is amazing! I have shot them individually but this was the first time that I was shooting them together. We have known each others’ families, our kids go to the same school, so we had some great bonding on the shoot. Their camaraderie and chemistry made it a fun shoot for us all. They complement each other beautifully and right from the first frame it was like wow! Though we had planned the concept it became a more impromptu shoot with the mother-daughter chemistry taking us into another zone.”
He adds, “Both Dimple and Twinkle are stunning women, have a great timing, and keep the whole shoot alive with their sense of humour. I love to have their vibrant energies on the shoot - it was also glamorous, vibrant and festive.” Post the shoot Dabboo was complimented by none other than Akshay Kumar himself. “Akshay called me on Tuesday after he saw the pictures and appreciated my work. We know each other for the last 21 years,” Dabboo smiles.
