Mirror was the first to report (July 30) that Taapsee Pannu and Amit Sadh star in Tigmanshu Dhulia's short film, a love story titled Baarish Aur Chowmein. Now, Mirror has learnt that Vidyut Jammwal, who is a part of Dhulia's upcoming feature Yaara, makes a guest appearance in the short film.
"Vidyut and Tigmanshu share a great bond, so when Tigmanshu shared the idea of the short with him, Vidyut immediately agreed to be a part of it," a source close to the project revealed, adding that the action hero portrays the role of an actor in it. "Taapsee plays a back-up dancer and shares screen space with Vidyut in a sequence," the source added.
When contacted, Tigmanshu confirmed the news, adding, "Vidyut shot for his portion in a day." Taapsee, who shot for the film in late September, had taken to Twitter to heap praises on Tigmanshu, "4 days down but knowledge that will last a lifetime. @dirtigmanshu set equivalent to an acting institution. (sic)"
The film was shot in eight days, across several parts of Mumbai. "It is currently under post-production," the source adds.
