Shraddha Kapoor, who had to return to Mumbai from Rock On 2's Shillong schedule following an eye injury earlier this week, is back on the sets and begins shooting from today. “She received a warm welcome. The team was happy to see her hail and hearty,“ says a source from the set, adding that the 26-year-old actress had consulted a doctor right after she landed in Mumbai, who prescribed certain drops and advised a few days' rest.
Did the injury affect the film's schedule? “Not at all, in fact, shooting for her portions begins only now,“ the source clarifies.
The actress was spotted hanging out with her co-stars on the sets, and posed with Magik's, Purab Kohli, Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal. Joining her were the leading ladies Shahana Goswami, who reprises her role as Joe Mascarenhas's wife, director Shujaat Saudagar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Prachi Desai, who returns in a bolder avatar for the sequel.
