Hollywood star Meryl Streep believes that India's Daughter, the documentary on the deadly gang rape of a young woman (Nirbhaya) in a bus in Delhi deserves to win an Academy Award. The film was banned by Indian authorities. The Oscar-winning actress, who introduced it at its US theatrical release in New York recently, said, “I'm on the campaign now to get it nominated for best documentary.“
