TE3N fared very poorly with first week collections of 16 crore nett. The CONJURING 2 which was released with TE3N did more than double the business with around 34 crore nett. TE3N started poorly but did show a big jump on day two but day one had sealed its fate as even a 60% jump could not help.
The film had done better in West Bengal and Mysore but when bigger circuits like Delhi/UP and East Punjab hardly help SARBJIT then West Bengal and Mysore are not going to take TE3N anywhere. The film will fold with under 20 crore nett business which is less than the weekend of WAZIR which is a similar film which itself did not do well.
The other release DO LAFZON KI KAHANI also fared very poorly with 3 crore nett in week one. The Hollywood release The CONJURING 2 did very well and could be the first Hollywood horror film to hit 50 crore nett. RAAZ 3 is the only horror film in India to top 50 crore nett and The CONJURING 2 may be the second.
