Parineeti Chopra arrived in Kolkata on Monday to start shooting for her next film and marked her first day in the City of Joy by catching an IPL match at Eden Garden, between home team, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore. She will shoot with Ayushmann Khurrana who arrived on May 12 all over the city in a month-long schedule. The duo are also planning to squeeze in time for a spot of sight-seeing. Ayushmann also went for the match. A source close to the team informs Mirror, “When Shah Rukh Khan (who owns KKR) learnt that both the actors were in Kolkata he promptly arranged tickets for them. Pari and Ayushmann had a great time cheering for the home team.“Parineeti gushed, “Watching the match, going to scream the loudest! Go KKR!“ and thanked SRK for the sweet gesture. Ayushmann, who admits to looking forward to all IPL matches, was especially thrilled to catch this one. “They are my favourite teams and this game was big. Watching the two teams battle it out in packed Eden was a treat,“ he said.
