The Anil Kapoor-starrer 24, the Hindi adaptation of hit American TV show of the same name, will feature a new villain, played by Angad Bedi, while a majority of the cast is set to reprise their roles. Other new additions include Sakshi Tanwar, Surveen Chawla and Sikander Kher among others. A source close to the development reveals that the team has been shooting since November but Angad is a recent entry. "The track revolves around a deadly virus attack threat that the ATS must combat. Angad plays a Dhruv, an NRI from an African country, who is on the team's suspect list as the carrier of the virus. There's also expected to be a love angle involving his past to look out for," informs the source.
The episodes have been directed by Abhinay Deo, Rensil D'silva, and Karan Boolani. Rensil confirmed the development, saying "Angad has joined the cast and has a pivotal role but I can't reveal any more details since it's a thriller. I've been shooting since November and I'm pleased with how the new season is shaping up. A bulk of the episodes have been wrapped up. The channel will take a call on the show's launch date soon."
