After Priyanka Chopra in “In My City“ and “Exotic“, Sonam Kapoor in “Dheere Dheere“ and Coldplay's “Hymn For the Weekend“, Jacqueline Fernandez in “GF-BF“ and Sonakshi Sinha in “Mood Ishqoholic“, British model-turned-actress, Amy Jackson, will be shooting for her first music video. The Punjabi-Hindi-English track re-unites her with the Singh is Bliing musician duo, rapper-singer Raftaar and UK-based singer-songwriter Manj Musik.

“Amy was humming the hook line and was taken aback when Manj asked her to come into the studio and sing it. She is open to experimenting and soon, she was singing in Punjabi, Hindi and English,“ recalls a friend close to Amy. All three - Raftaar, Manj and Amy - will act, dance and sing for the video over a two-day schedule.

The 24-year-old actress is not nervous because she was always a part of her school choir and has sung before an audience. “When I was 17, my sister and I used to drive back from school in her car and sing the Spice Girls' chartbusters from the '90s at the top of our voices,“ Amy laughs at the memory.

Her schedule is choc-o-bloc with Robot 2, which she is filming with Rajinikanth down South, and Sohail Khan's yet-untitled production with Nawazuddin Siddiqui set in Delhi. “But I wanted to do a music video that has a hip-hop vibe. Like a cool Rihanna song with Drake rapping. That's the kind of music I enjoy listening to between shots or when I am travelling,“ Amy informed, adding that her favourite genre music is house, and she also loves listening to Lana Del Rey and Maroon 5.
