The year might have begun on an ominous note for Bollywood with many couples breaking off their long-term relationships, but it seems things are looking up now, at least for Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. We were the first to tell you that the couple was considering giving their relationship a second chance. They had decided to take a break as there was too much strain between them.
On Wednesday night, the paparazzi were in for a pleasant surprise when they spotted the ace batsman and pretty actress dining together at a suburban Mumbai restaurant. It wasn't a romantic set-up but more like the two catching up over a cozy dinner. Virat's manager and friend Bunty Sajdeh, too, joined in. Our source tells us that Virat and Anushka spent most of the day together and had chatted over a long lunch too.
After dinner, they headed straight to meet Salman Khan at his Bandra home. Our source adds, “Salman had told Anushka that he enjoys watching Virat play. So, after dinner, she made an impromptu plan to go visit him, along with Virat. They stayed at his place for a couple of hours.“
Wonder what conversation transpired between them? It has to be the two things India loves the most -Bollywood and cricket!

Two months after Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli ended their twoyear relationship, the couple were clicked exiting a suburban Cantonese restaurant at 10:55 pm on Wednesday night. They had been dining with buddies Bunty Sajdeh, head honcho of one of the country's leading sports management firms, and celebrity stylist-wardrobe consultant Leepakshi Ellawadi.
The paparazzi had gathered outside a restaurant down the road, waiting to catch a popular producer and his friends, as they stepped out. But as soon as they learnt that the actress-producer and her cricketer beau were in the vicinity, they gave them the chase. To avoid the cameramen, Anushka and Virat exited in separate cars, Virat leaving with Bunty and Anushka with Leepakshi.
The 27-year-old-actress, who is busy with her wrestling drama opposite Salman Khan, and is also prepping up for three home productions, which will roll soon, looked eye-catching in a black, figurehugging dress as she followed Virat out of the popular joint. The Indian batsman has been focussing on the T20 World Cup but India's campaign ended after a semifinal loss to West Indies on March 31. The man of the tournament seemed at ease in the company of his ex. "They are a mature couple in love who, like everyone else, have had their share of differences. But they continued to be in touch even after their split and are trying to work things out now. They have decided to give their relationship another go but marriage is not on the cards at the moment. Anushka has always maintained a dignified silence on her personal life and will continue to do so," informs a source close to the actress.
In fact, besides her buddies, Salman Khan, with whom she has been shooting everyday also urged her to patch up with Virat, laughingly pointing out that it was too early to let go of each other. Virat is loved on the sets of the Ali Abbas Zafar film, like he is everywhere else too, for his commitment to the game. Salman also prodded Anushka to call it a truce. Looks like all's fair in love, war, Bollywood and cricket!

It is tough to stay away when you’ve broken bread together. Late on Wednesday night, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli exited a restaurant on Waterfield Road, Bandra. The lovebirds, who had hit a rocky patch in their two- and- a- half year relationship, seem to have reconciled over some Cantonese food. The two had not been spotted together for the last three months. Recognising Anushka’s car, the paparaazi waited outside the restaurant to catch a glimpse of her, but were taken by surprise to see Virat in tow. The actress was accompanied by Leepakshi Ellawadi, stylist of her next film Sultan, while celebrity consultant Bunty Sajdeh was with Virat.
Says a source, “The two exit the restaurant just before midnight. Virat was in casual wear while Anushka was dressed to the nines. They got into their respective cars and zoomed off.” Adds the source, “ Anushka made a pit stop at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Kabir Khan was also present there. She left within 10 minutes and then visited Sohail Khan at his Pali Hill home.”
So, does the dinner date signal that Virushka have kissed and made up? The star’s spokersperson says, “Anushka would not like to talk about her personal life. So, no comments.” What or who brought about this rapprochement just a week before the first look of Sultan is unveiled. There are theories galore.

Buzz is Salman Khan may have been instrumental in bringing the two face- to- face and putting their differences aside. The country’s star batsman rose to Anushka’s defence after Twitter trolls went berserk during the recent World T20 matches — an indication that he had not yet given up on his ladylove. After they were not spotted together since early this year, the two had even unfollowed each other on social media. However, he seemed to have won over Anushka once again after he silenced the online trolls.
