Sridevi is in Delhi right now prepping up for her upcoming film, Mom. Produced by husband Boney Kapoor, it is set in the North and rolls by the middle of the month with a schedule abroad later.
A source informed Mirror that since this is her home production the actress wants to ensure that everything is in place before the shoot. Sridevi plays a Delhi mom and the names of Akshara Haasan and Pakistani telly actress Sajal Ali have been doing the rounds to play the daughter.
Boney when contacted said shortly, "It's not been confirmed yet who will play the daughter. Yes, Sridevi is in Delhi but there's nothing more to reveal."
Now Mirror has learnt that Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays a small part in the film and joins the team in the second week of April as he is set to continue shooting for Sohail Khan's film throughout March. The film, which went on the floors today in Mumbai, also features Amy Jackson and Jackie Shroff in significant roles. Amy will begin shooting this Friday.
