The industry is abuzz that star kids Tanuj Virwani and Akshara Haasan have parted ways. It is said that they were advised by their respective families to focus on their careers.
Rati Agnihotri’s son and Kamal Haasan’s daughter were in a relationship for over two years, but the young couple, whose parents played onscreen lovers in Ek Duuje Ke Liye (1981), managed to stay away from prying eyes. The duo had met on the sets of Tanuj’s 2014 film Puraani Jeans since Akshara’s mother (Sarika) was part of the film. Gradually, love blossomed.
They recently featured in a short film, Scent Of A Woman, written and directed by Tanuj himself. He was earlier seen in Luv U Soniyo ( 2013) while Akshara made her debut in R Balki’s film, Shamitabh, last year, after assisting director Rahul Dholakia in several films.
