WILL PRIYANKA CHOPRA EMERGE VICTORIOUS WITH JAI GANGAAJAL?
Gangaajal (2003) was a powerful and a very memorable film that played a huge role in the success of Ajay Devgn and Prakash Jha's careers. Now it's part 2 is all set to release tomorrow. But Ajay is missing and it's Priyanka Chopra who will be playing the lead role. Moreover, Prakash Jha too features as an actor as Priyanka's subordinate. Many fans of Gangaajal definitely were disappointed but the trailer has made many of these to change their opinion. The film looks like a nice massy entertainer and such films unfortunately are not made regularly in Bollywood. And there's a huge audience for such films. Priyanka looks damn good and looks like she has packed in a powerful performance. Prakash Jha as an actor can turn out to be the surprise of the film. The songs haven't worked but 'Tetua'seems like an energetic number that should enhance impact in key scenes.
Still, the hype for the film is limited and this will surely impact the Day 1 collections. Many are unsure about the film as it looks too similar to Gangaajal. Priyanka Chopra and Prakash Jha's characters seem to be in the shoes of Ajay Devgn and Mukesh Tiwari from Gangaajal. Moreover, Manav Kaul and Ninad Kamat seem to be reprising the roles essayed by Mohan Joshi and Yashpal Sharma respectively. Will the film manage to stand out is what remains to be seen.
