The beautiful model-turned-actress Gauahar Khan is all set to foray into Hollywood with a special song in Solar Eclipse - Depth Of Darkness, a big-budget film set in violent India, post partition. She will be seen in a mujra sequence that provides an interesting twist to the film. What makes this even more special for Gauahar is that the song will be choreographed by Saroj Khan. She says, “After seeing me dance on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Sarojji had said that she wished I was her daughter. I'm thrilled that she is choreographing this song.“
The actress is at her fittest best right now for which she has been training vigorously. She says, “My fitness is keeping me super excited. I do crazy weight training and I'm very happy with the shape I'm in. Of course, in the mujra I'll be all covered up!“ Gauahar is raring to go with single-minded focus. “I have never really paid attention to where my potential lies and how much I can explore it. But I'm now working towards putting myself out there completely. Wherever I go, people tell me I'm a good actress and ask me why I'm not doing more films. So far I have got everything due to my hard work. I just want to go from good to better to best and keep growing.“
Riding high on the success of her item number Jawaani le doobi, she has her plate full with shows lined up across the globe. Along with films, there's television on her mind too. “Many people stopped me from doing Bigg Boss but I'm glad I went by my gut and have got so much love from everyone. I'm getting into production now and will come up with something that the youth, especially girls, can look forward to,“ she signs off.
