Juggling between Bajirao Mastani, Quantico and Jai GangaaJal has been physically draining for Priyanka Chopra. However, at one point, hopping between continents and the subsequent jet lag got the better of her. On one of her trips, the actress fell ill due to exhaustion and was put on an IV (intravenous fluids) drip. But that didn't deter her from working. She dubbed for an entire chunk of Jai GangaaJal while she was unwell. The crew, especially filmmaker Prakash Jha, was impressed with her dedication. The writer-director had been considering a film with the actress for the last six years. He says, “I was certain that she wouldn't be able to accommodate her dates between Quantico, Bajirao Mastani and my film. But she insisted that I discuss the story with her, and the moment she heard it, she said, 'I am your Abha Mathur. I am doing it.' She gives her 100 per cent to whatever she does.“ Well, this is the kind of commitment that makes PeeCee so winsome. Atta girl!
Jai GangaaJal, produced by Prakash Jha Productions and Play entertainment and co-produced by Milind Dabke, releases on March 4.
