After generating massive anticipation with the unusual fresh star cast and a novel, quirky concept, Eros International and Hope Productions' Ki & Ka is now all set to surprise audiences with yet another googly, with the song High heels.
This popular track by Honey Singh has been remixed and composed by Meet Brothers and choreographed by Bosco Caesar. Apart from many firsts, the film will also see Arjun Kapoor dance in heels for the first time.
Poking fun at the traditional stereotypes, Arjun, who plays a house husband in the film, wears red-hot heels, while Kareena Kapoor Khan, who essays the role of a career woman, sports a suit in the song High heels. It perfectly epitomises what Ki & Ka is all about.
Director R Balki says, “The song High heels sums up the essence of film. The concept of the video was about exchanging the traditional gender stereotypes and exploring something that has never been attempted before. In Ki & Ka, genders don't matter. This is going to be a conversation starter.“
Kareena adds, “Shooting for this song was a lot of fun, as Arjun and I literally exchanged roles. I wear the pants in this relationship and he wears the heels.“
Arjun, who rehearsed for the song wearing four-inch heels for over a week, says, “Having not just walked but also danced in heels, I have new-found respect for women. It's funny that I'm the first guy to bring red heels back in vogue.“
For all those who think men and women are fools to interchange roles, this film is releasing on All Fool's Day, i.e. April 1.
