Ghayal Once Again is a powerful action entertainer and a treat for Sunny Deol fans. Definitely, it’s not as great as Ghayal but at least it’s better than the recent Sunny Deol disasters. The beginning scenes shockingly are very bad. But 30 minutes later, the film goes on a high dramatically. The mall sequence is damn exciting and nail-biting. Same goes for the local train action scene– it is faadu! What also helped is that I saw the film at Mumbai’s iconic single screen theatre, Gaiety-Galaxy. The crowd went berserk as Ajay Mehra chased, got chased and taught a nice lesson to the baddies. Sadly, the climax is a bit disappointing and riddled with 90s clichés like the goondas beating up unarmed Ajay when they had guns and could have finished him in a jiffy. But the film has paisa vasool scenes in abundance and hence fans of Sunny Deol and masala film lovers should not be disappointed. Ghayal Once Again is sure to have a dream run in single screens!
