Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani, who announced their decision to separate last month, are reportedly clear that they don't want to get into any legal battle, which could turn ugly at a later stage. The couple, who met a few lawyers to ensure a comparatively transparent separation without any ill will or bad blood, is said to have finalised their legal consultant to take care of the proceedings. A source tells us that Farhan has expressed his preference to pay a onetime alimony instead of monthly maintenance. Moreover, Adhuna is apparently keen to retain their family home Vipasana, where she is currently staying with their daughters. Our source says, “She has told Farhan that she has also contributed to making the home, so she'd like to continue staying there instead of looking out for a new place and setting it up all over again.“
The two have already maintained in their press statement that their daughters - Shakya and Akira - are their priority and it's their responsibility as parents to protect them from unwarranted speculation and public glare.
