Anupam Kher’s 25-year-old dosti with Kapoor turns into rishtedaari

Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor’s 25-year-old dosti is about to turn into rishtedaari. In a quietly conducted ceremony on Friday, Anupam’s son Sikandar got engaged to Anil’s wife Sunita Kapoor’s sister’s daughter.
Anupam confirms, “Yes, Sikandar is engaged to Priya Singh who is Sunita’s sister’s daughter. They make a compatible and easygoing couple. My wife Kirron and I are very happy for the couple.”
Anupam was aware of the growing fondness between the couple. “But you know how today’s kids are. They didn’t want their relationship to be made public until they were sure of their feelings for each other. I wish them all the happiness,” Kher says.
About his new rishtedaari with his buddy Anil, Anupam chuckles, “I’ve known Anil for so long, we’ve become a like a habit for one another. He is in any case like a member of my family and I a member of his family. Iss se koi farq nahin padta (this engagement makes no difference) except that now we will be relatives.”

Actor Sikandar Kher got engaged to his girlfriend Priya Singh in a low-key ceremony on Friday night. The two have been dating since five months.The engagement was hosted by the Singhs at their sea-facing bungalow Rockdale in Bandra. Both sets of parents played perfect hosts at the party. Kirron Kher was seen personally taking care of every guest.
Though the bride's cousins, Sonam and Rhea Kapoor, were missing, Anil Kapoor, his wife Sunita (who is also Priya's mausi) and their son Harshvardhan were there. Sikandar's childhood friend Abhishek Bachchan came in with his mother Jaya. The party went on till wee hours of the morning. Everyone was pleasantly surprised when the actor landed up on time for work at Mehboob Studio the next day. He told BT, “It was a beautiful and intimate evening organised by our parents. Kavita aunty (Priya's mother) had worked her magic and as expected created heaven on earth. We are grateful to all our family and friends for their love and blessings.“
