TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary, who forayed into Bollywood with Khamoshiyan, will be playing the parallel lead in his second movie, Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana. The vibrant love story follows the emotional journey of Laddoo and Laali, essayed by Vivaan Shah and Ashkara Haasan respectively. Gurmeet plays a prince who any girl would dream to marry. On casting him as royalty, director Manish Harishankar says, “Gurmeet is the perfect guy for the role as the nuances of a prince come naturally to him.“
